In celebration of London Climate Action Week, we will be spotlighting sustainable initiatives that champion a greener, community-driven future — from refillable household products to upcycled creations and seasonal street food.

Climate café 4 – 7pm

Join us for our first Climate Café at The Tabernacle in Powis Square.

This is a welcoming space where residents and the community can come together to discuss the growing risk of flooding, share experiences, and learn how to protect their homes and neighbourhoods.

You'll hear from local experts and neighbours on practical steps to become more flood-resilient and discover how small changes can make a big difference.

There will also be a creativity corner, an activity for all ages. Come for a coffee, stay for the conversation, let’s work together to build a stronger, more flood-aware community.

Seed sculpture workshop 1-4pm

Head to the garden at Leighton House for this afternoon of creative sculpture. Create seed sculptures, made out of clay and pollinator-friendly seeds. Take inspiration from the sculptural forms and decorative arts of Leighton House and the natural beauty of the garden.

This workshop is a relaxed and environmentally friendly way to experience working with clay. As the unfired sculptures break down and seeds germinate and grow, they will create habitats and food sources to benefit insects and other creatures.
