All our libraries are still open as usual, but the cyber-attack has affected some of our systems.

Free events are continuing.

You can still access our guest WiFi, even if you are not a library member.

There is currently no access to public PCs. However, there are a limited supply of laptops for use. Please check with your local library for further details on this scheme.

What you can do

You will still be able to:

  • join the library as a new customer to borrow books
  • renew expired library cards
  • renew loans online by logging in to your account via the library catalogue
  • check out, renew or return loans via the staff desk
  • return items using the self-service kiosk or the returns sorter
  • access online resources
  • place reservations for collection
  • renew items by phone using the contact centre
  • renew items by phone using our automated renewal line
  • photocopy

What you cannot do

You cannot currently:

  • join the library as a new customer to access PCs and printing
  • print from your own device
