Young people across Kensington and Chelsea are celebrating their GCSE results today as they look ahead to their next steps in education, training or employment.
Congratulations to every student receiving their results and a well done to all the teachers, school staff, parents, carers and families who have supported them along the way.
Results at a glance
Across the borough, 67 per cent of students achieved grades 9 to 5 in all subjects - significantly above the national average of 52 per cent.

Cllr Catherine Faulks, lead member for family and children’s services, said:
"Today is a day to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our young people who have once again delivered brilliant results for Kensington and Chelsea.
"They should feel extremely proud. I also want to thank the teachers and staff at our brilliant schools, as well as families and carers for the encouragement and support they have given students throughout their studies."
Students look to their next chapter
Charlie, from Chelsea Academy who opened his results this morning at Chelsea Academy said:
“I’m very pleased with my results. I am going to do Biology, Chemistry and Maths A level in sixth form.”
Milla, who opened her results at Kensington Aldridge Academy this morning, and is planning to attend sixth form there, said:
“I’m happy and think everyone should be happy, we’ve all worked very hard for our results.”
What comes next?
For students who already know what they want to do next, today is an opportunity to start their next chapter.
