The war in Ukraine is causing a humanitarian crisis, with people fleeing their homes and in need of vital aid. International aid charities are supporting people in Ukraine and on the borders. A small donation can go a long way to support people in need. Please ensure that you are donating to a registered charity via a secure payment method before donating. The UK government will match pound for pound up to £20 million donated by the public in this appeal which will provide food, water, shelter and medical assistance.

The Council stands ready to support people fleeing conflict and persecution. We have offered logistical support for the Ukrainian Embassy to make parking easier for staff in the area.
