The RBKC Supply Chain project will help local businesses tender for big contracts with developers and property owners, connecting them for opportunities and providing support.
Running for two years, the project is open to businesses across the borough in property and construction related trades, from plumbers and carpenters to architects and interior designers. RBKC Supply Chain is run by the Council in partnership with London procurement experts MTW Consultants.
A successful one-year pilot of the programme saw almost 100 SMEs and 11 developers involved, with 44 local suppliers put forward for 75 opportunities and 11 invitations to tender as a result.
Not only will those taking part in the project get more opportunities for contracts but they also get plenty of support in preparing to tender. This includes a review of the business and its credentials, guidance on how to maximise their potential and networking opportunities.

A key part of the Council’s Economy Strategy, launched last year, RBKC Supply Chain is designed to help work towards a stronger local economy that works for everyone, at every level.
