Bank holiday parking
On bank holidays and public holidays:
- pay-by-phone parking bays are free (includes Holland Park off-street car park)
- restrictions do not apply to resident permit bay parking
Single yellow line restrictions
Single yellow line waiting restrictions:
- do not apply on bank holidays and public holidays, unless the vehicle is causing an obstruction to the flow of traffic
- do not apply on Sundays (including Easter Sunday) and on Christmas Day
Individual single yellow lines operating on a Sunday are identified by a separate plate. These do not apply on Christmas Day.
Parking Suspensions
Parking places are generally not suspended over bank holidays and public holidays with this exception:
- Suspensions for the purpose of a traffic flow or for an alternative bay are restricted 24 hours for each suspended day (or at any time for yellow line dispensations). This is inclusive of bank and public holidays and weekends that fall within the suspended period.

Double yellow lines restrictions
Double yellow line restrictions apply on every day of the year.
Restricted zones
Waiting is prohibited at all times in restricted zones. The entry and exit is clearly signposted in a restricted zone.
