***Amended description*** Demolition of existing buildings/structures to enable redevelopment of the site (Phase 3) with six blocks ranging from 4 to 15 storeys in height to provide between 368 and 370 residential dwellings (Use Class C3), with ground floor commercial space (Use Class E) and flexible community / commercial space (Use Class E/F.1/F.2); provision of a community centre with associated adventure playground (Use Class F.1/F.2) including up to 760 sq.m flexible floorspace including steel pan workshop (Use Class E/F.1/F.2), along with a community kitchen garden at roof level; and car and cycle parking, landscaping and public realm improvements.
***(Amendments include: internal alterations to building layouts and revised housing size mix resulting in an overall reduction from 373 - 377 homes to 368 - 370 homes, and increased number of larger wheelchair user homes; increased height and revised rear faτade of Blocks 5 and 10; revised highway layout to prevent access from Wornington Road to Ladbroke Grove / Barlby Road roundabout, and car parking, cycle parking and servicing changes; revised public realm and landscaping including retention of an additional tree and increased planting of new trees; introduction of a second staircase in Block 9A; changes to the ground floor floorspace, layout and arrangement of commercial and community uses in parts of Blocks 7, 8 and 10; and revisions to environmental sustainability details.
Further amendments and information include: changes to highways site layout and public realm including reduction in car parking provision, changes to long-stay cycle parking in each block, and additional windows to Block 9B studio flats at fourth and fifth floor levels; provision of Phasing Plan; and changes / updates to technical matters relating to drainage, trees, biodiversity, air quality, noise, energy and sustainability, fire safety, residential quality, financial viability, and the Environmental Statement and Environmental Implicati
