How to enrol
To enrol on a course, you must provide documents that prove you meet the Greater London Authority’s funding requirements. The documents you need will depend on your immigration status.
Required documents
UK citizens

passport or ID card

proof of benefit eligibility (if applying for a concession)
EU citizens

passport or photo ID

proof of pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme
Non-EU citizens

passport showing indefinite leave to remain

proof of benefit eligibility (if applying for a concession)
Asylum seekers
This includes those who can not return home after a rejected claim.

letter with your Home Office reference number

proof of benefit or permission to work

Application Registration Card (ARC)

confirmation of Section 4 support from the Home Office (within three months of the issue date)
Refugees
You must give proof of a benefit and a travel document, or a passport
Who can not enrol
You can not enrol in Adult Learning courses if you're in the UK on a:
- visitor visa
- student visa
- work visa
- dependant via (linked to someone else’s immigration status)
