How to enrol

Documents you need to enrol
To enrol on a course, you must provide documents that prove you meet the Greater London Authority’s funding requirements. The documents you need will depend on your immigration status.
Required documents by immigration status
UK citizens

passport or ID card

proof of benefit eligibility (if applying for a concession)
EU citizens

passport or photo ID
-
proof of pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme
Non-EU citizens
-
passport showing indefinite leave to remain

proof of benefit eligibility (if applying for a concession)
Asylum seekers (including those who cannot return home after a rejected claim)

letter with your Home Office reference number

proof of benefit or permission to work

Application Registration Card (ARC)

confirmation of Section 4 support from the Home Office (within three months of the issue date)
Refugees

proof of benefit and a travel document, or a passport
People who are not eligible to enrol
You are not eligible to enrol in Adult Learning courses if you are in the UK on a:
- visitor visa
- student visa
- work visa
- dependant via (linked to someone else’s immigration status)
