How to enrol

To enrol on a course, you must provide documents that prove you meet the Greater London Authority’s funding requirements. The documents you need will depend on your immigration status.

Required documents

UK citizens

  • passport or ID card

  • proof of benefit eligibility (if applying for a concession)

EU citizens

  • passport or photo ID

  • proof of pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme

Non-EU citizens

  • passport showing indefinite leave to remain

  • proof of benefit eligibility (if applying for a concession)

Asylum seekers

This includes those who can not return home after a rejected claim.

  • letter with your Home Office reference number

  • proof of benefit or permission to work

  • Application Registration Card (ARC)

  • confirmation of Section 4 support from the Home Office (within three months of the issue date)

Refugees

You must give proof of a benefit and a travel document, or a passport

Who can not enrol

You can not enrol in Adult Learning courses if you're in the UK on a:

  • visitor visa
  • student visa
  • work visa
  • dependant via (linked to someone else’s immigration status)
