Applying for the City Living, Local Life grant

Introduction

City Living, Local Life is a ward-based community programme that helps residents improve their neighbourhoods by providing funding for activities.

The scheme is a great opportunity to share your ideas and connect with your local ward councillors who make decisions on funding.

Aims

Applications should meet one or more of the City Living, Local Life aims:

  • improve understanding of local areas, including local history, local people, geography and places
  • build stronger connections and relationships between local people
  • help to identify, assess and prioritise improvements in local areas
  • devise practical solutions involving local people to address local issues
  • work with local people and organisations to deliver solutions
