Report a food safety concern

Tell us about any concerns around food safety, such as food poisoning or illegally-imported food.

We only investigate problems at restaurants in the borough. Contact the other relevant local authority for restaurants outside Kensington and Chelsea.

Before you start

You will need to tell us:

• details of the problem, with any evidence
• the location
• the date you visited
• the type of pest – if applicable

We may also ask for your contact details.

Things you can report

You can report problems such as:

• cleanliness of facilities
• foreign objects in food
• illegally-imported food
• incorrect food labelling or descriptions
• perished, decayed or mouldy food
• pests
• poor food hygiene
• suspected food poisoning
• water quality

What will happen to my report?
