Notes This office deals with all births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea dating from 1837 onwards.

This office provides the following services:

The registration of all births, still-births and deaths that occur within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Providing copies of certificates for all births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships that have occurred since 1991.

The attestation of notices of marriage and civil partnership.

Ceremonies and registrations for marriages, civil partnerships, and civil partnership to marriage conversions

The performance of citizenship ceremonies.

The performance of civil ceremonies: baby naming, renewal of vows and commitment ceremonies.

To make a booking you must provide the following information:

Full names and surnames of both parties
Marital status/partnership status
Both addresses
Nationality
Contact telephone numbers (day and evening)
Three alternative dates and times for wedding in order of preference

It is also possible to e-mail registrars@rbkc.gov.uk on any matter relating to appointments.
