Description Chamberlain House provides personal centred care for Older Adults (Over 65s). People with all abilities are welcome. We are a Dementia Friendly Day Service specialising in complex needs.

Services Subsidised three course lunch.
Snacks and beverages served all day.

Arts & Crafts classes, Poetry, Music & Movement, Chair Based Exercises, Sing-Along, Quizzes, Cook &Taste, Gardening, Outdoor Outings and Community Integration Activities etc.
Languages Chamberlain House has a staff team who speaks a wide range of languages (eg. Spanish, Urdu, Filipino, Creole, Yoruba and Twi).

Clientele Anyone over 65, wishing to socialise on a daily basis.
Eligibility Any person can make a referral via a Social Worker / Mental Health Team Psychiatrist / Occupational Therapist, GP.
Special Access Facilities Wheelchair accessible and dementia-friendly design features.
Notes Interactive Widescreen Multi Activity Table.
Secure Garden, Art Therapy Room, ADL (Activity of Daily Living) kitchen, Library, Table Games including cards, Scrabble, Dominoes and Crosswords.

Outings all year round.

Staff offer general safety advice, exercise classes and some minor rehabilitation. Staff provide basic health checks i.e glucose level and temperature reading, blood pressure checks and M.U.S.T. (Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool).
