Youth Council's Cost of Living Grant

Applications for the Cost of Living Grant are now officially closed. Youth Fund assessors will be reviewing applications in the coming weeks, and applicants will be notified of their outcomes by early December.

The Youth Council's Cost of Living grants are for young people in Kensington and Chelsea experiencing financial hardship or who are in severe financial need.

Individuals can apply for up to £250, which will be provided via One4All vouchers, Sainsbury’s vouchers, payment to school uniform suppliers and/or Oyster card top up.

Grant money is not awarded via cash payment or bank transfer.

Where does the Cost of Living grant money come from?

The Cost of Living grants come from the borough's Youth Participation Fund, a dedicated pot of money to support young people’s development and engagement in the design and delivery of small programmes and projects.
