Queen of the World

'This piece is made of mirror and tiles on wooden board. I have chosen to depict the Queen in this way, as I feel it symbolises the Queen's strong relationships with other countries. She has continued to build bridges between many dynasties on behalf of the British people to benefit the country and help it to prosper.'

Zakia has been a resident of Kensington and Chelsea for the past 20 years, and currently lives near Latimer Road station in North Kensington. She is involved with many local charities, including Build on Belief, 240 Project, WAND, and the Dalgarno and Clement  James Centre.
