We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will join our established team and build on our success as an outstanding school.

We need a Teaching assistant who will be able:

  • To assist in supporting the learning and personal development of pupils, to ensure they make maximum progress in line with their abilities.
  • To aid pupils to learn as effectively as possible in class, in groups and on their own. If working one to one with a pupil, to liaise with the class teacher, SENCO and other professionals about the child’s Education, Health & Care Plan, supporting the child to meet their outcomes.
  • Along with Class Teachers, Phase Leaders and the SENCO, to regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of pupils.
  • To support the Class Teacher in the planning and delivery of a personalised curriculum, where necessary.
  • To have a sound knowledge and understanding of the SEND Code of Practice (2015) and the principles which underpin it.
  • To take a flexible approach in order to best meet the needs of the pupils.
  • To work alongside the Class Teacher in carrying out regular assessments of pupils and support the learning of small groups of pupils within the classroom, as directed by the Class Teacher.
  • To support the Class Teacher with general classroom resourcing.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the schools aims and objectives.

Senior Administration Officer – Fox Primary School

Fox Federation are looking to appoint a highly efficient and organised Senior Administrative Officer to start in the Spring term 2021 (April) . We have a highly-dedicated team who are looking for a highly skilled senior administrator to support our school and team. The postholder will  support the finance and administrative functions of our very busy federation. The successful candidate will need to be a team player, who is always flexible and able to maintain a professional appearance and manner. High levels of written and oral communication skills and excellent attention to detail are key. Knowledge of school management information system and finance systems -  SIMS and FMS is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

The working hours are 36 hours per week during term time (39 weeks).

Deputy Head - Kensington Queensmill School

Beginning in September 2021, we are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Deputy Head, to assist the newly appointed Head of School for this brand-new, purpose-built Special School in RBKC.

We are excited at the prospect of opening this exceptional new facility, for children and young people who have a diagnosis of autism, or severe learning difficulties. The post will be permanent, on a full time basis, and the successful applicant will join a newly established Multi-Academy trust which will focus exclusively on children with Special Educational Needs.

We would welcome applications from people who:

  • Have extensive experience of autism with children of all ages and in a Special School setting
  • Have a passion and are versatile in creating effective, engaging, highly personalised learning environments for children with autism or SLD
  • Can multi-task and are able to support in the development and mentoring of junior colleagues
  • Are able to coordinate and liaise with multi-professionals, parents and a host of other stakeholders
