Benefits

Whether you are an experienced professional or just embarking on your career, your pay range will be competitive and reviewed in the light of your progress.

Learning and Development

Throughout your time here you will be constantly learning. You will be challenged by your work, encouraged to try new approaches and supported to maximise your potential.

We will invest in providing the resources you need to develop professionally, through a combination of informal on-the-job and formal development programmes.

We make time and financial support available for social work staff studying for Post Qualifying Courses and the Practice Teaching Award.

We offer an in‑house training programme with a wide range of learning opportunities. These include accredited management and leadership courses, mentoring for Black and minority ethnic staff, approved social worker training, and child and adult safeguarding training.

We also work closely with regional Skills for Care and Children’s Workforce Development Council networks. This helps us share good practice and take part in regional training, development opportunities and funding programmes.
