As part of the Royal Borough’s celebrations to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s 70 years on the throne in 2022, the Council invited submissions of artwork from the local community to form a special collection in honour of the Platinum Jubilee to be displayed in the Civic Gallery at Kensington Town Hall.

Artists were invited to submit work that responded to moments of personal or historical significance during the Queen's 70-year reign. The Mayor and a panel of local arts organisations came together to select the best artworks responding to this theme.

This special Collection showcases the following fifteen selected works produced by artists of all ages, who either live, work or study in the borough across varied art disciplines including drawing, painting, mosaic and collage.
