"Applicant has stated that the premises will be used as a 'CAFE'. The name of the shop will be 'MUCCI'S CAFE.

The applicant advises that that the cafe is very small; the customer area accommodates a maximum of six seated guests indoors and a maximum of four seated guests outdoors at any one time.

He states that the environment will be extremely quiet due to the nature of the business. He also operates a fine dining restaurant across the road, which is well known for its calm and refined atmosphere.
Steps to Promote Licensing Objectives: Applicant's statement and proposed steps to promote the licensing objectives

a) General - all four licensing objectives (b, c, d, e)
We shall carry out regular litter patrols on an hourly basis and particularly at closing time within a 20-metre radius of the Premises to ensure that there is no litter associated with the Premises. Waste will be presented no more than 30 minutes prior to its allocated waste collection time. Deliveries to the Premises shall not take place between 21:00 and 07:00 the following day. We will have a strategy on the attendance of couriers waiting to collect food from the Premises to ensure that neighbours are not disturbed by the delivery persons and their vehicles.
Implement a CCTV system covering all entry/exit points and key areas inside and outside the premises, with footage stored for at least 31 days and accessible to authorities upon request. Maintain a refusal log and incident book to record any incidents of crime, drug use, or disorder. Operate a policy to prevent underage sales of alcohol. Train all staff in conflict management and how to report crime or suspicious behaviour. Work closely with local police.
Conduct regular risk assessments of the premises to identify and mitigate safety hazards. Ensure all fire safety equipment is maintained and regularly tested; clear evacuation procedures will be in place and communicated to staff. Limit capacity in accordance with fire and building safety standards. Provide first aid kits and ensure key staff are trained in first aid. Ensure clean, well-lit, and hazard-free environment at all times, with clear signage and procedures for emergency situations.
We will ensure that no noise or vibration associated with the operation of plant at the Premises shall give rise to a nuisance to the neighbours. We will ensure that no smells generated from the cooking processes at the Premises, shall give rise to nuisance to the neighbours. No music or amplified sound shall be generated within the Premises so as to give rise to nuisance within neighbouring dwellings. We shall ensure that clearly legible notices shall be displayed at all exits from the Premises requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave quietly.

Ensure that all staff are trained in checking valid forms of ID (passport, driving licence, PASS-approved cards). Clearly display age restriction signs. Provide training to staff on how to identify and report child safeguarding concerns.
