The Gate Cinema

The Gate Cinema is a Grade II listed building located in the trendy Notting Hill. Notting Hill's historic cinema makes for an exquisite setting for corporate events, get-togethers and weddings.

The Gate is now equipped with state-of-the-art air conditioning, which has been carefully designed to fit within the Grade-II-listed plasterwork. The auditorium has been fully re-seated, with luxury armchair seats, drinks tables and double love-seats at the rear.

This seating for 184 is perfect for a special ceremony, as we are licensed for the purpose of a civil marriage and hold other celebrations.

In order to be married or enter into your civil partnership at one of our approved venues, you must first make a booking with the venue of your choice and then contact us at Kensington and Chelsea Register Office to ensure that you book registrars to attend your ceremony.  This means in addition to the fees charged by the venue for your ceremony, you will also need to pay the fees for registrars to attend. Once you have confirmed availability with your approved venue and you have booked and accepted their fee, you can then book the registrars. Our fees are below:
