About the workshop

In this family-friendly workshop, children and their adults will explore the art of calligraphy through a festive lens. Together, they’ll learn how to write the phrase Eid Mubarak in Arabic - which means “Have a blessed Eid” - using fun and accessible calligraphy techniques. Adults will gain an introduction to calligraphy basics to form beautiful letters, while children engage with playful mark-making and watercolour. Families will create their own Eid cards to take home, combining lettering with decorative design to celebrate the upcoming festival together.

Although based on Eid, all are welcome!
