About the workshop

Join us in a fun, imaginative workshop where families will take part in life-drawing activities and draw-along challenges, to co-create a final illustration exploring the meaning of 'peace'.

Nadine Kaadan,  an award-winning children’s book author and illustrator, will read from her book Tomorrow , while talking about her creative process, inspired by memories of her childhood in Damascus.

The workshop will help adults grow their confidence in supporting children to read and develop a love of books. The session will also encourage children to relate themselves to book characters and stories they read at home.
