Global Entrepreneurship Week events for start-ups and small business owners

Local businesses and start-ups can up their skills and connections in a series of free online events this Global Entrepreneurship Week (Monday 16 – Sunday 22 November).

It will be a little different to previous years due to Covid-19 but now, more than ever, it’s important to support start-ups, self-employed enterprises, and small businesses.

This year, there is a great range of online activities to get involved in through the Council and partners, to keep people safe and inspired from home. From one-to-ones with industry experts, to writing the perfect pitch for a new business, entrepreneurs can book their place now for a variety of workshops, training and webinars.

Global Entrepreneurship Week events and activities

Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November

‘Meet the Experts’ two-day virtual event provided by Portobello Business Centre, supported by the Council.

There will be interesting business talks and an opportunity to get all the answers to your questions in one-to-one online sessions with experienced industry experts.

Keep up to date with using your customers’ personal data with this webinar hosted by DCMS and BEIS

Taking meetings and activities for social enterprise entrepreneurs provided by Kensington and Chelsea Social Council

This Zoom training session will focus on using digital tools to maintain and develop business relationships and increase interactivity and human connection in digital communications. Open to representatives of voluntary organisations in the borough only.

Power up your business with COBRA and FAME free virtual training provided by Kensington and Chelsea Libraries Service.

The library offers free access to COBRA and FAME business databases and this session will show you how to use these resources to develop your business, improve your reach and create mailing lists for B2B advertising.

Virtual lunchtime networking event with Kensington and Chelsea Chamber of Commerce and Business Junction
