The Kensington and Chelsea community can help shape the future of social housing allocations in the borough by taking part in an early engagement exercise.

The Council’s Housing Allocations Policy, which sets out how we prioritise who qualifies for social housing, was introduced in 2017 and is now due to be revised.

We want to hear what residents and community groups think about how the scheme could be improved in order to develop the fairest system with the resources we have available.

By taking part in our pre-formal consultation exercise, you can let us know your thoughts about the current points-based system of prioritising housing allocations and share any ideas you might have for improvements before we begin redrafting it.

We have appointed NewmanFrancis to conduct this early engagement work and there are a number of ways you can get involved. An online survey can be completed by visiting www.newmanfrancis.org/rbkc, and paper copies can be requested by email at [email protected] or by calling 0208 536 1436.

We held four online meetings in February and a further two will be held via Zoom on the following dates in March:
