A cyber-attack is affecting our Council Tax service. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Here is what you can do if you have any problems, and where you can get help.

Paying your bill

Direct Debit and online payments are currently unavailable.

You can pay another way or keep money in your account to cover the bill when systems are back up.

If you make payment by Direct Debit, a new bill will be issued when the system has come back up. If you can't make the payments listed on the bill, contact us to discuss a payment plan.

Refunds

Our system for issuing refunds is currently unavailable.

We will pay refunds as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Discounts or exemptions

Contact us to apply for a discount or exemption.

Please provide as much information as you can. Include any documents to support your application, such as student certificates or evidence of diplomatic exemption (Form 3).
