Read our response to the latest Grenfell Community Assembly

Published: Thursday 24 March 2022

Following the last Grenfell Community Assembly which took place on Tuesday 22 February 2022, we’ve published detailed meeting notes and an action response report to inform residents about the outcome of the event.

Throughout the course of the evening, we welcomed 35 residents to Al Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre to address issues around community safety. Attendees visited information stalls hosted by local community organisations, the RBKC Community Safety Team and officers from the Met Police before participating in a number of roundtable discussions. These discussions centred around themes that included anti-social behaviour, modern slavery, violence against women and girls, serious youth violence, hate crime and general community safety.

The key issues raised under each of these themes are detailed in the report, along with information about how the Council is working to combat these concerns.
