RBKC Young Carers Personal Budgets Service

About the service

Young Carers are those under the age of 18 who provide care to another family who has a physical illness or disability, a mental health illness, sensory disability, learning difficulties or missuses alcohol or drugs. RBKC Young Carers Personal Budgets Service can provide up to £150 for young carers to use on a physical activity outside of the home.  Examples of activities they have funded for our young carers include ballet classes, swimming lessons, horse riding, boxing, dancing and private football coaching, just to name a few.

How to access the service

Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster Memory Service

About the service

Memory services provide assessment and diagnosis of dementia and provide ongoing support and information to people with memory problems and their carers. Memory services are specialist services for people of any age who may be experiencing memory difficulties, which includes early onset dementia. All memory services have no upper or lower age limit so will assess and work with people of any age who may have or suspect they have memory problems.

How to access the service

If programme can help, you will be invited to attend the first phase of the programme. The service will contact your partner or ex-partner before you start, to offer them support as well. Find contact details below.
