Costs and payment methods
Fees charged for a parking suspension will apply for each chargeable day, per space required.

Short notice suspension bookings (five working days notice) for permit bays will incur a one-off non-refundable, additional charge of £371 per application. This is a limited service and at the council’s discretion.
*Each space is available as either a marked bay or a 16 feet (five metres) space.
Example fee calculation
If you want a suspension for three chargeable days and for two spaces, calculate as follows:
- three days x £72 = £216 x 2 spaces = £432
If you want a suspension for seven chargeable days and one space, calculate as follows:
- five days x £72 = £360
- two days x £112 = £224
So total charge for seven days = £584 for one space.
Admin and cancellation charges
We will charge an administrative fee to each application you make changes to, or cancel.

We will charge an administrative fee if we have to cancel your suspension because you are not using it for an approved purpose.
In addition to the suspension charge, each film related parking request exceeding four car spaces will be the subject of a parking handling charge from the Borough Film Office.
When to pay
You will need to pay your fee when we accept your application and send you an invoice. This will advise you when your payment must be received by us for the suspension to proceed.
There needs to be one clear consecutive week between the dates you need for a suspension for a second application to be treated as a new application and incur the lower charges.

How to pay
We accept payment by credit card and debit card or via BACS. We don't accept Amex or Diners Club cards.
Do not enclose cash with any postal application forms.
