From 27 August 2026, you will not be able to set up a new monthly parking permit subscription or autorenewal.
If you already have a monthly parking permit subscription or autorenewal, it will continue as normal. You do not need to do anything.
This is due to a technical issue.
You can still buy parking permits for 3, 6 or 12 months in advance.
We are working to fix the issue and will update this banner when the issue has been fixed.

Pay for parking in Kensington and Chelsea using PayByPhone. Register once and pay by app, online, phone, text or at a PayPoint store.
PayByPhone parking
PayByPhone lets you pay for parking using a credit or debit card.
You can pay:
- using the PayByPhone app
- online
- by phone
- by text message
- at a PayPoint store if you do not have a phone
You can use PayByPhone wherever PayByPhone signs are displayed in the UK.

Shared use motorcycle bay
These bays can be used by the borough’s motorcycle permit holders. There is a charge in place for visitors during controlled zone hours.
Payment sessions are available for daily, monthly and yearly durations. This can be purchased at the time of parking.
Motorcycle charges
- daily: £2
- monthly: £20
- annual: £200
Fully electric motorcycles can park for free by booking a PayByPhone session.
You can move during the period you have paid for to any other shared use solo motorcycle bay without further charge whilst your session is still active.
Transaction cost per session
PayByPhone charges 10p per parking session in addition to the parking tariff, including when you extend a session.
Optional text messages alterts cost:
- booking confirmation: 30p
- parking expiry reminder: 30p
