Crossrail 2 consultation

You can search, view and comment on applications using the Planning Applications Search on the council's website. The service is updated regularly, and key milestones and target dates are shown under "Proposal Details".
If you have submitted an application that is still within its statutory determination period, or an agreed extension of time, a progress update may not yet be available. If you need to speak to the planning officer dealing with your application, you can email them directly. Their contact details can be found in:

Transport for London (TfL) carried out its first public consultation on Crossrail 2 between 14 May and 2 August 2013. Before we responded to their consultation, we carried out our own survey of Chelsea residents to make sure they still thought about it as positively as they did when we last asked them in 2003.
What our residents told us
- about 3,000 residents replied to our survey
- 70 per cent supported the line and a station in Chelsea
- 25 per cent opposed the idea
- there was more support than opposition across the survey area
- support was particularly high in the area to the west of Beaufort Street
- there was strong support for a station at the Chelsea Fire Station site on Dovehouse Street, but an almost equal number of respondents thought a new station would do more good if it were further west, towards Fulham

What we told TfL
Following the survey, the Council has now made its own submission to TfL expressing strong support for the scheme and offering to work with them to identify the best location for a station so that as many Chelsea residents as possible can benefit.
