Description: 10 semi-detached linked villas forming a symmetrical terrace. c1837-9; Nos 1-5 built by John Inderwick and John Robert Butler, Nos 6-10 built by George Hinton. Stucco. Nos 2-9 with slated hipped roofs with overhanging eaves. Nos 2-9. 2 storeys and basement with recessed 2 storey linking wings containing entrances. Nos 1 and 10; 3 storeys. and basement. 2 windows each; Nos 2-9 plus window above door in each wing. Entrances with stuccoed surrounds of pilaster strips with simplified pediments; those to Nos 1 and 2 with moulded architraves. All with panelled doors and overlights. Architraved sashes: ground floors of Nos 2-9 with console bracked cornices and lugged sills; 1st floors Nos 1 and 10 with console bracked pediments and cast iron balconies. Plain stucco band and 1st floor levels except wings. Wings with cornice and blocking course; Nos 1 and 10 with dentil cornice and blocking course.
