Description: | Mausoleum of pale yellow (?Bath) limestone. Mason unknown. The lower section, rectangular in plan, has battered sides and a heavy plain door architrave below a moulded cornice; the upper section has a shallow plinth with a worn inscription, covered with a pedimented roof. One of the very earliest monuments in the cemetery, and one of a pair. Illustrated in The Penny Magazine, August 2nd 1834. |
