Apply for a Housing Payment

Housing Payments provide discretionary financial support to help residents who are struggling with housing costs and who are receiving Housing Benefit or Universal Credit housing costs. Decisions are based on individual circumstances and there is no automatic entitlement to an award.

How to apply

To apply for a Housing Payment:

1. Download the Housing Payments application form
2. Complete all sections of the form
3. Include any supporting evidence requested in the form
4. Email the completed application form and supporting evidence to [email protected]
5. Download the Housing Payments Application Form

Supporting evidence

If you receive Universal Credit, you will need to provide your latest Universal Credit payment breakdown when submitting your application. We will need to see all pages of the statement.
