Congratulations on your engagement!
Whether you live in Kensington and Chelsea or not, getting married is a special occasion and choosing the right place for your ceremony is just as important. All our years of experience will ensure that your day is special. We are delighted to provide these pages to help you through the planning and organisation of your wedding day, and we pride ourselves on offering you the highest standards of service and customer care.
You are free to get married anywhere in England or Wales which is licensed for civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. This means that if you wish to get married here in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea then you are free to do so, no matter where you live.
There are two easy steps to getting married. First, you should choose, book and pay for the venue for your ceremony. Second, you and your partner should gain clearance to marry by giving notice of intention to marry at your local register office, at the latest one month before your ceremony (71 days before if either of you is a non-EEA national). You can then start to plan the finer details.
