The education and training support is committed to supporting learning and growth of bereaved and survivors. This support includes:
- annual educational bursary funding for 0 to 25-year-olds
- specific financial support to assist the learning outcomes of children with special educational needs
- access to a dedicated employment advisor and bespoke one to one employment advice from late Spring 2025 to help adults either find work for the first time, re-enter the labour market, or find a new career.
- one-off educational bursary for adults over 25 which they can use from Spring 2025 and over the four years to help them retrain, upskill or work towards securing employment
- priority access to an education hub from September 2025 to help children and young people get the best out of their education
For the immediate community
The education and training support aims to support learning and growth within the community. The Adult Education Offer will launch in late Spring 2025, providing tailored bursaries to support with career aspirations and meet the needs and aspirations of qualifying adult learners. This will be accompanied by a dedicated employment worker who can support individuals with career development and growth.
Building on this foundation, the Children’s Education Offer will follow in September 2025 with the launch of an education hub in North Kensington. Alongside access to bursaries for qualifying young people, this offer will provide:
- advice
- guidance
- support
across a range of areas to support the educational journeys of children and young people.
