Parking suspension and highway licences
Before applying for your licence, check if you need parking suspensions. If required, apply for parking suspensions first. You will need to quote the suspension reference number on your skip licence form. Contact the Parking Suspensions team on 020 7361 4385 to book suspensions.
Notice period for suspensions:
- resident parking bay: at least 10 full working days’ notice
- pay-by-phone bay: at least two full working days’ notice
- bus stop: get permission from London Transport before renewing or applying for a permit
If you plan to use a wait-and-load skip, arrange parking pay suspensions if needed.

Apply for a parking suspension and highway licences for a Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) in one application form:

If a CTMP is not a condition of the planning permission, you can apply for individual licences as needed. Applications can be made here.
