Heat networks
Heat networks provide heating and/or hot water from a central, communal boiler or heater to connected individual homes or buildings. You are on a heat network if your heating or hot water come from a source outside your home, shared with any other households. If you have a boiler inside your home, usually in the kitchen or a storage cupboard, you are not on a heat network.
We operate 33 heat networks across the borough in the properties we manage, supplying heating and hot water to over 110 buildings and 3,000 homes.
Heat meters
A heat meter measures the amount of heating and hot water used in your home.
Some homes on our heat networks have individual heat meters. Others do not because of the age or design of the heat network.
Find your network
If you live in a building owned and operated by the Council, you can search a list of all the heat networks we manage using the spreadsheet below. The name of the heat network may not always match the name of your building or estate. Be sure to check the full list under each network to see if your address is included:
