There are events to take part in across the borough from Monday 22 June to Sunday 28 June for London Climate Action Week. Whether you actively take part in climate action or just curious, there's something for everyone: from hands-on fun and family-friendly sessions to inspiring talks and creative workshops.

Future Neighbourhoods Breakfast at Nourish Hub - 9:30AM – 11:30AM

For all Notting Dale Future Neighbourhood Project Leads and Partners, join us for a meeting at Nourish Hub to discuss any delivery updates and the legacy of Future Neighbourhoods Programme.  

Tuesday 23 June 

Garden volunteer day at Ladbroke Grove Secret Garden - 1PM – 4PM

Join us in the secret garden behind Ladbroke Grove Station for an afternoon volunteer session and the launch of the compost.

Wednesday 24 June

Green Champions Lunch Stall at KTH Canteen - 12PM – 2PM

Visit our stall in the Town Hall canteen to learn about some of the new Green Champion’s initiatives, such as the Bag Tree.

TRAID Clothing Event at KTH Green Wall - 12PM – 2PM

Do you have any clothes that need repairing? Visit the TRAID Clothes Repair stall at the Kensington Town Hall green wall to repair your clothes and support a circular economy.

Climate Fresk Training for Staff at KTH - Time TBC

Free Climate Fresk Training. This training aims to engage participants in climate change in a playful and positive way, and develop solutions on an individual and community level. You can find more information here: https://climatefresk.org/world/

Bird Walking Tour at Kensington Gardens - Time TBC

Join us for a free bird walking tour in Kensington Gardens. Enjoy a nice walk in the park and learn about local birdlife in your community!

Friday 26 June

River Thames and Physic Garden walking tour - Time TBC

Come and learn about the borough's longstanding interaction with the River Thames and explore Chelsea Physic Garden. From historic structures to brand new open spaces along the river, this accessible guided walk will take in the full southern borough boundary, starting at Chelsea Theatre and finishing inside the beautiful Chelsea Physic Garden. 

We'll discuss what changes will need to happen in the future to ensure that the borough remains protected from flooding. 

The meeting point will be outside the Chelsea Theatre at 7 World's End Place, Chelsea, London SW10 0DR.

Fix It Fest at Kensington Leisure Centre - 10AM – 2PM

Join us at the Kensington Leisure Centre for the monthly Fix It Fest. On offer are bike repairs, clothing repairs, electronic repairs and energy advice.
