Following our consultation on Kensal Library, 73 local residents shared with us how they use the space and how they felt it could be best utilised in future.

Cllr Johnny Thalassites and Action Disability Kensington and Chelsea have written to Transport for London and the Mayor of London to request an exemption to the new extended Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) for disabled people.

The Council wants to hear from the local community about how to improve markets in the borough as part of the five-year Markets Plan being launched later this year.

Kensington and Chelsea Council today announced that it has received a report examining specific property transactions involving the work of the Council’s Property Department before the Grenfell Tower tragedy in June 2017. 

This week the Council will be texting and calling over 2,500 residents who are now being asked to shield themselves until the end of March. 

Owners of empty or under-utilised properties in Kensington and Chelsea are being asked to bring them back into use to help tackle the borough’s housing shortage.

The Grenfell Projects Fund and Community Leadership Programme are returning – and the Kensington and Chelsea community can help shape both schemes.
