About the service

In-Deep Community Task Force is a grassroots charity working with isolated older people and children with Special Education Needs (SEND) and their families in Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth and surrounding areas. We aim to promote friendship and understanding in the community, and tackle loneliness and isolation by bringing people together to take part in meaningful activities. We offer a range of services and support for those in need.

RBKC Young Carers Personal Budgets Service

About the service

Young Carers are those under the age of 18 who provide care to another family who has a physical illness or disability, a mental health illness, sensory disability, learning difficulties or missuses alcohol or drugs.

RBKC Young Carers Personal Budgets Service can provide up to £150 for young carers to use on a physical activity outside of the home. Examples of activities they have funded for our young carers include ballet classes, swimming lessons, horse riding, boxing, dancing and private football coaching, just to name a few.

The Dalgarno Trust

About the service

The Dalgarno Trust is a community centre, offering a wide range of activities, projects and services that promote health, wellbeing and inclusion for all ages.

Current programmes at Dalgarno:

  • Community Champions: Activities for locals, ranging from baby stay and play sessions to sewing workshops, run by our local team of Community Champion and Maternity Champion volunteers
  • HealthWorks Enables: Dalgarno Trust works in partnership with local Black, Asian and minortiy ethnic organisations to provide health and wellbeing projects
  • Dalgarno Youth Programme: After-school and holiday clubs for seven to 18 year olds
  • Digital Champions: Helps the digitally excluded to learn skills to use IT

The Dalgarno Trust also runs a Foodbank every Thursday.
