Chelsea Embankment Gardens
Chelsea Embankment Gardens are situated at the feet of the bridges along the busy Chelsea Embankment. The gardens contain spring and summer bedding, trees, shrubs and grass areas.
The bridge gardens provide pleasing surroundings whilst walking alongside the Thames.

History
The Thames Embankment was created by Sir Joseph Bazalgette from 1869 to 1874. These small gardens were created after the embankment. Lieutenant Col Sir James MacNaughton Hogg opened the Chelsea Embankment in May 1874.
