Basements SPD, April 2016
If you have a live planning application, you can use the planning application search to check its progress. The search is updated regularly and key milestones and target dates can be found under 'Proposal Details'.
If your application is still within the statutory determination period, or within an agreed extension of time, you should not expect a progress update at this stage.

The Council adopted the Basements SPD on 14 April 2016. The Basements SPD provides more detailed guidance and advice on the adopted Local Plan Policy CL7: Basements. It is designed to help applicants make successful planning applications and for residents to understand the various issues that the Council will consider in assessing planning applications related to basement development. Applicants should follow the guidance in the Basements SPD when submitting their planning application alongside meeting the requirements of Policy CL7: Basements in Chapter 22 of the Local Plan 2019. Depending on the case there may be other planning policies that also apply.
