Get involved in our Golborne Community Street Audit

These streets are made for walking!

Go Golborne’s fourth mini-campaign, Pedal & Stride, is all about making it easier for local families to travel around on foot or by bike, scooter or other mode of active travel.

As part of the campaign Go Golborne and the Council’s Sustainable Travel Team is working in partnership with the walking charity Living Streets to conduct a ‘Community Street Audit’ of key walking routes in the Golborne area. The audit is looking at how the environment could be improved to make it easier and more pleasant to get around the area on foot. The Council will then take forward the ideas and recommendations from the audit as part of its future plans for the area.

Living Streets organised a number of consultation activities for local residents before Christmas.

Complete a short online survey to get involved.

If you live or spend time in the Golborne area then please take the time to provide your feedback by the end of January to give us the best possible understanding of what needs to change.

Check back soon to find out about upcoming Pedal & Stride activities and find out more details of walking and cycling activities on offer to borough residents all year round.
