THE BRITTEN THEATRE
The Britten Theatre's responsive acoustics and tiered auditorium are appreciated by the audiences of opera, music theatre and ballet. The RCM's Britten Theatre was opened by Her Majesty The Queen in 1986 in celebration of the College's centenary. It was designed by Hugh Casson, and named after Benjamin Britten, a former student of the College.The theatre has excellent technical facilities and is in almost constant use as the focus of the RCM's international Opera School and a frequent host to visiting companies, artists and private events. With its own entrance from Prince Consort Road, the theatre is licensed for public events.

THE AMARYLLIS FLEMING CONCERT HALL
A performance space which can accomodate large orchestral and choral concerts. Newly installed lighting and sound equipment replicate professional conditions for recording and broadcasting. Box office facilities are available and the hall is licenced for public concerts.

RECITAL HALL
The Recital Hall is a small hall with a fixed raised platform and grand piano suitable for solo and chamber concerts, lectures, auditions and receptions. The hall is not licenced for public concerts.
