If they are prepared to devote some time to making the Borough a safer place, they are invited to put their names forward to serve on the Group. Applications are particularly welcomed from younger people and representatives from the minority ethnic communities who are under-represented. The Borough Police Commander regularly briefs the Group and is there to listen to points of view. Representatives from the Council''''s Parks Police, the Royal Parks and London Transport forces are often represented, together with representatives from local community groups. The Group is also the main consultation forum for police and community discussions, linking to the Community Safety Partnership Board. Meetings are held in the Borough every three months, details are available on the events calendar on the Council''''s website: www.rbkc.gov.uk/events Last Updated 25 March 2014
