During controlled parking hours all visitors must park in pay and display bays or in off-street car parks. There are no uncontrolled areas in the borough and we do not issue visitor vouchers.
Outside of controlled parking hours anyone can park in any resident permit bay, pay and display bay or on single yellow lines for free.
Please check the signs carefully, operational times for residents' bays differ across the borough.

To park in pay and display bays during controlled hours you will need to purchase a ticket from a nearby machine and display it on the dashboard of your vehicle. Our machines only accept cash - 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins.
Pay and display parking is free on Sundays, bank holidays, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
PaybyPhone parking is currently available in two areas of the Borough: Kensington High Street and Redcliffe ward (SW10).
We will start rolling out the service across the rest of the Borough in the summer. We will prioritise the roll-out by the cost of parking (with the high tariff areas completed first), with shopping areas and other destinations, such as hospitals, completed before residential areas.
See current availability and register for Pay by Phone.
