Traffic Management Details Proposal The general effect of the Order would be to: (a) prohibit motor vehicles from entering the length of Spear Mews adjacent to Nos. 190 and 192 Earl's Court Road; and (b) revoke the existing one-way system in the length of Spear Mews specified in paragraph (a) above, along with the associated prohibition of entry. [Note: These proposals replace recently advertised proposals to prevent all vehicles entering Spears Mews at its junction with Earl's Court Road. Emergency service vehicles will be exempt from the restriction specified in paragraph (a) above]. The Order is required to provide a safer environment for pedestrians and cyclists in Spear Mews by preventing motor vehicle through traffic, which will be achieved by the provision of a `no motor vehicles' restriction in a length of Spear Mews at its junction with Earl's Court Road. The new prohibition will mean that the existing one-way system in that location and associated `no entry' restriction will no longer be required and so these provisions will be revoked.
