A Refreshed Council Plan Action Plan for 2025-2027: Delivering our Council Plan Priorities

This is an overview of the council’s action plan for delivery from April 2025 to March 2027. Activities are outlined by council priority. This high-level action plan is supported by more detailed directorate, project and service delivery plans.

 

Action What we will do and when What residents will see

1. Implement the commitments from the council’s response to the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Phase 2 Report.

This is a cross-council programme of huge importance for the council and its residents.

  • We will publish a more detailed action plan on how we are implementing all 45 of the commitments in May 2025
  • To ensure effective resident involvement in, and ongoing monitoring of, the changes we are making, we will be setting up an independent advisory panel (IAP) by June 2025.
  • We will then work with the new IAP to commission an independent external review of council culture by the December 2025
 We will build an organisational culture based on fairness, respect and humanity and ensure that everyone who relies on the council – no matter their background – feels listened to, cared for and understood.
