Express consent is refused on the grounds that the proposed illuminated facia and projecting sings would be overly large and prominent and would result in a significant detrimental harm to the visual amenity of the streetscape. The proposal would also be harmful to the significance of the setting of the listed building in the area. The proposal would therefore be contrary to policies CL4, CL11 and CR4 of the RBKC Local Plan 2019.
