Conditions and reasons:

1)

The creation of a roof terrace results in a significant loss of privacy and disturbance to neighbouring properties and is therefore contrary to 'saved' policies CD35 and CD46 of the Unitary Development Plan.

2)

The railings and the creation of a door in the roof slope creates clutter and bulk to the roof structure that detracts from the architectural character of the property and causes harm to the appearance of the Conservation Area. The proposal is therefore contrary to the 'saved' policies CD27, CD44, CD50, CD57, CD61 and CD62 of the Unitary Development Plan.
